kat_wwwEN_01.pngAfter United Kingdom Team Dignitas announced the addition of Ireland HotSwat to their Trackmania line-up the UK based team United Kingdom VVV, previous led by Ireland HotSwat, decided it was a good idea to move onto a new organisation. The remaining players from United Kingdom VVV joined United Kingdom The Imperial, a UK organisation that was looking for Trackmania players even before the ESL Pro Series UK adopted Trackmania as an official title.

The line-up at United Kingdom The Imperial before the change was United Kingdom Bubb, United Kingdom Shaw and United Kingdom Alex.

Bubb is one of the players in the current ESL Pro Series UK season and is guaranteed a spot in the next season due to his current position. Click Read more to see the new line-up and read what the team had to say.

United Kingdom XephyR caught up with some of the players and staff at United Kingdom The Imperial to find out more about the new line-up. United Kingdom Bubb is the Trackmania team leader.
Bubb, as the team leader what are your plans for the team for the 2009 season and what chances do you think you have in the next season of ESL Pro Series UK?
I will be speaking to the team about where we are heading and what competitions we should be entering this season, there's some work to be done. For sure we have a great team now and we will really work hard in ESL to qualify for the fourth season of the ESL Premiership. We will probably be interested in entering the Stadium Team Championship #6 over at ET to cause some damage there too.

United Kingdom StevieM, previously the co-leader of team United Kingdom VVV with HotSwat, talks breifly with SlideStar.org about the past few days' team changes and where he feels it leaves the team ready for the summer season.
StevieM, what was the mood like in VVV after HotSwat announced that he would be leaving and how did the move to The Imperial come about?
We were shocked when he first told me he was leaving, but soon after we saw it as a good thing for him as it was a fantastic opportunity. Once he left it put me in a position where I had to decide whether VVV was still right for us. I decided to move us to Imperial because I felt as though they had the resources we needed to become a successful team, plus I know we had the option as we had been asked to join many times before. But instead of just myself joining I decided to take the whole team with me, which Imperial were more than pleased about.

United Kingdom Pyro, formerly a player in atteam-international, had been taking time away from Trackmania to focus on his studies. He's been active a few days and has found himself a place in this strong all-British line-up. SlideStar.org caught up with him to find out exactly what this means to him.
Pyro, you used to play with atteam at a reasonably high level, how does it feel to come out of inactivity and be invited into an all-British line-up with similar potential to play at a high level?
Having played in the same clan as some of the members of Imperial before, such as Stevie and Xtreme, I was immediately interested in the prospect of joining, especially as I knew of Imperial and their standing within the gaming community with their CSS and COD4 teams. The team has a good atmosphere already, with a few of us having been in the UK squad for NC4, and I think the team has a good chance of doing well in upcoming tournaments.

United Kingdom oLy, Head of PC Gaming at United Kingdom The Imperial, spoke to United Kingdom XephyR about his plans for the Trackmania team from a managerial perspective.
oLy, this announcement is yet more great news for the UK Trackmania community. What promoted you to adopt an all British Trackmania squad and what plans do you have for TI.tm going into the future?
Ever since we brought in Matt (bubb) we've been looking to bring in more players and prefably UK players due to The Imperial being a UK organisation. StevieM and the rest of the guys were an obvious choice with such talent and experience. We will be looking forward to WCG at i37 in August in TMNF and several other games. Another important event for us is EPS UK next season in which we are hoping to have atleast 3 players.

Below is the new United Kingdom The Imperial Trackmania line-up:
United Kingdom Bubb
United Kingdom Shaw
United Kingdom Alex
United Kingdom Xtreme
United Kingdom Pyro
United Kingdom StevieM
United Kingdom Hybrid
United Kingdom Elano

Only know some of the names, no idea about qualities or whatever. But it's good
to see some activity in UK and hopefully a group of players that will go for ESL
and such .
